Gala Bingo Emmerdale
Gala Bingo are head and shoulders over their rivals for innovation in 2015. Joining their already massive roster of rooms and exclusives is a brand new Emmerdale Bingo Room. To celebrate they've brought out a special themed version of their Galalala TV advert - and it features stars from the soap! Plus there's a nice new welcome offer which will appeal to fans.
The advert starts off with two people in a lovely white Range Rover heading towards Emmerdale. The lady passenger starts singing the Galalala song whilst pointing out at members of the current cast. Unfortunately as we don't watch the show we have absolutely no idea who they are - sorry!
Mysteriously all four people on screen suddenly end up in the back of the car - and conclude the now famous Gala Bingo song. We're then told by the voice over person that there's a new welcome offer to celebrate the arrival of the new 90 Ball Emmerdale Room at Gala Bingo. This is deposit £10 to get a £25 bonus (x2 wagering) plus a free limited edition Emmerdale mug.
We've not been able to locate the offer on Gala but it will be available at least until February 2016. Our current offer is deposit £10 play with £40 and get a free cinema ticket - which is actually a better offer. Still, if we can find the Emmerdale promotion then we'll get that in place asap.
One thing this advert tells us is that the Galalala song is going to be about for a little while longer. However it's nice to see the current Emmerdale cast getting involved in promotions and seeing a sponsorship tie-in work two ways. Hopefully we'll see some trips to see the set of the soap and other Emmerdale prizes up for grabs in the coming weeks.
